Privacy & Cookies
Last updated: October 24, 2026
This notice describes the features and third-party services used by Bible Scripture Finder on devinedrive.com. It does not replace the privacy notices of those third parties.
Your searches and reflections
No account is needed. The Scripture search runs in your browser against a small, curated passage collection. The search feature does not send your search text to a search API or save a search history on our server.
If you type a reflection, the app saves it in this browser’s local storage so it can remain after a refresh. Local storage is not the same as a cookie. Anyone using the same browser profile may be able to read your reflection. Avoid entering sensitive or identifying information, particularly on shared devices. To remove a reflection, erase the text or clear this site’s browser storage. Clearing browser data may also remove preferences and other saved site data.
Copy uses your device’s clipboard. Share uses your device’s sharing options when available; the destination you choose handles the shared passage under its own terms.
Hosting and optional platform features
The hosting provider processes technical information needed to deliver and secure the site, which may include IP addresses, browser information, request times, and requested URLs. Hosting logs are separate from the local Scripture-search feature. If publishing analytics or platform feedback features are enabled, those services may also process usage or feedback information. See Replit’s Privacy Policy for its handling of this data.
Advertising and third-party cookies
The main Scripture page loads Google AdSense code when the page opens; this also delivers Google’s published consent message where available. Loading Google’s code does not mean that Google has approved the site or that Google ads are being served. Google’s ad tags consume its consent framework signals. Adcash AutoTag is loaded separately only after Google’s consent service supplies usable information. Where European regulations apply, this site requires consent for device storage and personalized advertising and explicit Additional Consent for Adcash. If the service is unavailable, consent is unknown, or Adcash consent is missing or rejected, Adcash stays blocked. Outside that scope, Adcash can load only when the service explicitly reports that European consent requirements do not apply; this is not a claim of compliance with every jurisdiction’s requirements.
Once allowed to load, advertising providers and their partners may place or read cookies, use web beacons, local storage, IP addresses, device identifiers, and browser information to deliver, measure, secure, and, where permitted, personalize advertising. Third-party code runs on the main page; its data practices are not limited to the local behavior of the search feature.
Adcash AutoTag can deliver pop-under windows, interstitial ads, in-page push-style ads, and video sliders. The formats actually shown depend on Adcash’s settings and delivery, and may vary by visit or device. This is a description of AutoTag’s capabilities, not confirmation that every format is enabled on this site. Ads are third-party promotions, not Scripture results or recommendations from this site. See Adcash’s privacy policy, cookie information, and opt-out information.
Google and its partners may use advertising cookies to serve ads based on visits to this and other websites. Read How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and Google’s advertising technology information.
This privacy notice does not itself obtain consent. Where consent is required, advertising must be configured to respect the applicable choices before relevant processing occurs. The availability of an ad script does not establish that consent has been obtained.
Your choices
- Manage or block cookies and clear local storage through your browser’s site-data settings. Some features or ads may stop working.
- Manage Google ad personalization at My Ad Center. Opting out of personalization does not necessarily prevent all cookies or advertising.
- To change or withdraw a choice made in Google’s European-regulations message, return to the main page and use Google privacy & cookie settings. Where available, this reopens Google’s own message. If Adcash was already requested, the page reloads first to discard that page’s advertising code, then requests a fresh Google message and keeps Adcash blocked until a new valid decision is available. The reload does not erase your saved reflection. Availability depends on your region, the site’s Google configuration, and whether Google’s scripts can load. If unavailable, the site reports that rather than recording a replacement choice. This information page does not load advertising scripts.
- Changing consent does not undo past processing, close windows already opened by another service, or erase third-party cookies. You can clear site data through your browser and use Adcash’s privacy and opt-out information for the provider’s additional choices.
- Explore participating providers’ opt-out choices at YourAdChoices and Your Online Choices.
Other services and changes
The main page loads fonts from Google Fonts, which involves requests to Google’s servers. External links take you to services with their own privacy practices. We may update this notice as the site’s services change; the date above identifies the latest revision.
